I decided to find my Court Card –
In the Tarot, the Court Cards can represent people, moods or events, or aspects of your own personality. Each Court Card corresponds to an astrological sign, but also has a distinctive personality flavor.
Below are my two cards – one astrological and one relating to my personality. I can definitely identify traits of myself in both. I find this rather fascinating.
Card 1 (Queen of Wands) : Your Astrological Court Card »
She has the ability to turn heads when she walks into a room and to command attention with simply a smile or a laugh. When she ‘turns it on’ people notice her!
Passionate, warm and enigmatic she is the life and soul of the party – the woman that other women want to be like. She may draw many male admirers.
She needs to feel good about herself, so what she does for a living and her intimate relationships both require passion.
Not afraid to share her thoughts and feelings, some may be intimidated by her extrovert personality; however this doesn’t really bother her.
She is the intrepid journalist, pioneering businesswoman and philanthropist of the world and pursues her career with energy and ambition.
Her passionate outgoing nature can create jealousy in others, and if she does not sometimes tread carefully and understand that not everyone is as confident as her, she may experience hostile reactions.
Prone to throwing tantrums or feeling sorry for herself when not on top of her game, she can easily alienate people.
To develop balance in her life, the queen of wands must learn when is the right time for her passion and drive, versus when patience and tact are called for.
Card 2 (Queen of Swords) : Your Personality Court Card »
A woman with an agile mind, intelligent and articulate she is able to think at light-speed and can sweet-talk herself out of the trickiest situations!
With such a quick wit and quick thinking normally comes quick talking! She is the great orator, negotiator, sales woman, TV presenter, actor and teacher of this world.
She loves communication whether it’s over coffee with a friend, on the phone, texting on her mobile or email, and she never runs out of things to talk about!
Her strength is her ability to see solutions that others don’t due to her analytical mind and ability to see things conceptually.
Her free spirit, sense of fun and ability to thrive on change makes her great fun to be around. People certainly never find her boring.
Her negative traits/weakness can be that she talks too much and does not listen enough. This can sometimes make her appear self centered and insensitive to others.
Having a low boredom threshold she can also appear fickle and superficial.
This can lead to commitment issues both at work and in romance, so she needs to work on being more pragmatic and disciplined to find success in love and life.
